Ephesians 5:22,25,33:
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it.
Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence [respect] her husband.
Love and respect for God over all
He’s first in our hearts and our lives.
Loving obedience by proper arrangement
Brings blessings to husbands and wives.
Husbands love wives as Christ loved the Church,
As their own body and soul.
A wife shows respect for her husband as lord,
As the head that can make her life whole.
Love and respect toward God and each other
Submitting to God over all,
Doing His will as our dear loving Father,
Like Christ, boldly answering His call.
Marriage was made for the blessing of man,
God wants us to joy in our hearts,
Joint heirs together of God’s grace in life,
And all His abundance imparts!
Love and respect by proper design,
Even when trials arise all around,
Love and respect is God’s will for our lives,
With love and respect in God’s grace we abound!
