You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on our hearts, to be known and read by all. And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

I was once a blank page,
Didn’t have much to say;
Then I believed God’s Word that I heard,
And here’s who I am today:

I’m a living love letter,
Not written with ink and a pen.
You can read of God’s love in me
Straight from my heart,
I’m known and read by all men.

The Living God wants you to know Him,
And that’s why He sent me to you;
Just read of His light and His love and His life,
I’m telling you plainly—it’s true!

I’m a living love letter,

And when you write back to Him, open your heart,
And say that His love is for you;
